My Summer Must Haves

This summer is flying by. Wasn't yesterday just my birthday? I wish. Anyway, all summer I've been compiling a list (in my head) of things that I seriously can't live without during the hot months.

Coppertone Sport Continuous Spray 50 SPF- This sunscreen seriously works. The only time I've had trouble with it was on the breezy beach. If you're not careful, it will blow into the wind instead of onto your skin. I learned that the hard way. I think the lotion type of sunscreen is better for more even application, but I definitely like the spray.
Solarcaine Spray- Chris introduced this to me the first time I got a sunburn around him. His mom used it on him. When I was little I just got a vinegar bath and some pain reliever. It's in an aerosol can so you don't have to touch the delicate sunburned skin. That's why Chris likes it.
I still like the aloe gel because it feels more hydrating to me. We switch back and forth between both.
Bright nail polish-If my toes are going to be showing, my toenails will be painted. Whether I do it myself or get a pedicure, there will be bright colors involved.
Off Insect Repellent- Ok, this one is more for Chris, than myself. He has a serious phobia about mosquitos getting him, and he is a mosquito magnet. This is the only kind he will buy.

Flip flops- Also known around our house as "flippies". I live in these things, somtimes even during the winter. I used to be really bad and buy them in every color, but this year I only bought a few colors. I hate shoe shopping because my feet are wide, so I am lazy and just wear flip flops.

Fresh fruit- I have not been baking this summer...at all. I don't know if it's the heat, or the fact that I don't have my *own* kitchen but it hasn't been happening. All I want is fruit these days, strawberries, pineapple and grapes.
These are the things getting me through this hot Texas summer!
