Beef Tips & Gravy

Uh, hello. Wanna know the  yummiest easiest (cheapest!) meal you could ever make?!

Meet my beef tips and gravy. You can serve it over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.

Even if you can't don't cook you can make this and not screw it up. Seriously. Try it.

Beef Tips & Gravy

What you need:
1 pound stew meat
1 can french onion soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup

That's it. Only three ingredients needed, not including your potatoes, rice, or noodles. I made ours with rice. We love this rice...

So are you ready for the easy part?

Dump the beef and soups into a bowl and combine.

Throw it into a casserole dish and cover with foil.

Put it in an oven set to 300 degrees and let it go for four hours. Check once or twice to make sure the liquid level is good (if not add water) but other than that leave it alone! The meat will be very tender and moist.

A bit before you're ready to serve, make your noodles, potatoes, or rice.

That's it. I served mine with rice and a veggie. This recipe makes four servings but you can easily double or even triple it.
It tasted even better the next day. Chris wanted to try it over mashed potatoes so we took our leftovers and did just that.

I don't know how it was possible but the meat was even more tender today than it was last night.

I think it'd be great for a Sunday dinner. We couldn't decide if we liked the beef tips better with rice or potatoes...they were both good.

Enjoy!
