Ham and Cheese Calzones

It's no secret. I love pizza. I don't know what it is about it (ok I do, it's the sauce) but...Yum.

Of course when I ran across this WW recipe I had to try it. I was bummed that the sauce wasn't... (tomato) saucy? But these are delicious, and only 8(ish) points (depending on the dough you use) per serving!

Ham and Swiss Calzones

What you need-

1 pound refrigerated pizza dough. I used the kind in the can next to the crescent rolls.
1/2 cup fat free sour cream
4 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp black pepper
6 ounces lean honey ham, thinly sliced
4 ounces low fat swiss cheese
Cooking spray

What you do-

Preheat oven to 425. Divide dough into two equal portions. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into two 10 inch circles. Put the circles on a baking sheet and set aside.

Whisk together sour cream, mustard, oregano and black pepper. Spread mixture all over both circles, to within 1 inch of edges. Top half of each circle with half each of ham and cheese. Lift untopped side of dough and fold over filling so it meets other side. Pinch edges together to seal. Coat surface of calzones with cooking spray. Cut a couple of slits in each calzone.

Bake until puffed up and golden brown, about 25 to 30 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Slice each calzone into thirds. 1/3 calzone per serving.

Serve with roasted veggies or something green!
