Four Years

Today marks four years that Chris and I have been together. Here's a breakdown of each year.

Year one-2006- Half of this year we spent apart. I was in school in TX and he was in TN. I finally moved to TN and we spent the summer together. We both focused on school that fall. It was great.

Year two-2007- The year started out great, I was accepted into the nursing program at school. Chris was enjoying his studies as well. My mom passed away in March. I dropped out (mistake) of school, and moved back to TX the day after...Chris stayed in TN, he moved to TX in June (3 months later). We both got jobs, and lived with my aunt.

Year three-2008- Chris saved every penny he made. I bought a car and spent every penny I made. In April, we got our own place. Freedom! We traveled a lot.

Year four-2009- I quit my job. Chris got his almost dream job. We spent all of our money on bills, bought nothing for ourselves. I got my act together and planned to start school in January 2010 but it didn't happen. Chris was diagnosed with cancer and he froze sperm so hopefully we can have kids one day.

Things I hope will happen in 2010...I hope Chris' ct scan that he gets after his last round of chemo (February) shows the cancer is gone...going... I hope to finally find a job that means something to me. I hope Chris gets the job he's wanting. We will be moving in July, so I hope we find another place. I hope I get a ring. Oh, wait did I say that? I hope we spend the next 100 years together.
