Vacation-Part 2 of 3

Saturday we woke up and left Georgetown at 8. We got to Six Flags Fiesta Texas at 9:45. It was so stinking hot already and not even noon yet. The first thing I did when we got there was buy one of those huge cups that you get free refills on all day. I was not even about to dehydrate. Oh but little did we know that every time we needed a refill we would have to stand in line anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. It wasn't even crowded! The people working there were just that slow.

Enough of that...anyway we didn't get to ride all of the rides that I wanted because as I already mentioned we stood in line for DRINKS a third of the time. There were 8 of us in our group so pretty much someone always needed something. Food, drink, bathroom. Whatever.

Chris and I will only ever go with 2 other people. It was too hard trying to make everyone (kids) happy.

I thought the water park part of the day was fun. Chris was not impressed. He said he probably won't ever go back with me. I was like, DUDE?! He said he just saw some dirty/gross things that he didn't point out to me at the time because he thought I would freak out. He's probably right but I was still bummed that he didn't enjoy himself.

Oh, and he will go back.

The roller coasters that we rode (all 4 of them) were really fun. I think I freaked Chris out once though because I was screaming my head off while riding The Goliath, and by the end of the ride I was out of breath and I couldn't catch it. The restraint thing across my chest was so tight (they don't make those things for big boobs!) and I was about to pass out. We were still locked into the ride so Chris just kept yelling at me to calm down. I felt bad for him, but thank goodness I felt better after I stood up.

The couple of water rides that we got to do were fun too, but we just ran out of time.
Right when we got into the park.
Hello creepy guy in the white shirt behind us. Yikes.
Lots of walking.
My least favorite ride.
Of course he got his favorite summertime snack.
See that red and blue roller coaster in back? My favorite, THE SUPERMAN.
The second before Meg went to take this picture, the lights on that awesome ferris wheel in the background went off. I was sad. It could have been a cute picture...not sure what Chris is doing. About to kiss my forehead? Who knows.

After being at the park for 12 hours my feet were killing me and we were all starving so we went to eat. And by we, I mean Chris, myself, Rita and Meg. The other half of our group left the park way before it closed.
I really didn't intend on eating at Chuy's but since it was just soooo convenient, that's where we ended up. I wasn't complaining!
If we look tired/a little sunburned/thirsty/hot/happy it's because we are.

We finally got back to the hotel around midnight and passed out. And by passed out, I mean I slept until the idiots in the room above us decided to jump rope or whatever the heck they were doing at 8 am. I'm not even kidding. Somehow, I was the only one that was woken up by this.

It was whatever though, because Sunday we had SO. MUCH. FUN.

Part 3 tomorrow!
