Chris has this thing for chocolate. I mean, I like it too, but not as much as some people. Some people...like Chris.
Baked Fudge
What you need-
1 cup sugar
2 tbs. cocoa
2 tbs. flour
1/2 cup butter (melted)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. You can use either an 8X8 pan or four large ramekins. I used ramekins.
Place ramekins in a cassarole dish half way full of water.
Now grab your two eggs and crack them into a bowl.
Beat the eggs until they become light in color. Lighter than this.
More like this.
Once the eggs are light, add your sugar.
Beat until combined.
Next, add your cocoa.
Add the flour, melted butter and vanilla.
Mix gently until the batter is combined.
Pour batter into the ramekins.
Bake in the oven from 45-60 minutes. It depends on your oven. You want the tops to be crunchy, but you want the inside to be fudge-like. A toothpick should not come out clean. Stick them back in the oven a few minutes if you think they aren't done enough.
This one looks perfect, although I like this next one because if you put ice cream on it, it would drip into all the nooks and crannies.
But that's just me. You could also top with homeade whipped topping, or powdered sugar.Happy VALENTINE'S DAY!

Praying Chris doesn't read this or you are in soooo much trouble girl. I think I am gaining weight just from looking at all the food you make.
Also, you might want to give up the nursing and go to cooking school girl...I will be your other taste tester!
Kimmie
I know! He only ate one of the strawberries I made! Lol And, I didn't even post about the chocolate chip cookies I made last week, but he took some to work today. He's giving stuff away. :)
