It Was Good.

Friday night C and I went to see The Hunger Games. He liked it, and so did I. I'm glad I didn't read the book again because I would have gotten hung up on the minor details. You know, like the cat that wasn't really orange.

I'm glad we went and waited in line for an hour and a half to get a seat. I'm also glad I bought the tickets days before because all of the shows were sold out. We had fun. This was probably the last Friday night date night for a while because C is going back to working nights in a couple of weeks. Yuck. I know that's what he prefers though so I can't complain.

The only thing I'll say about the movie that I didn't care for, was the fact that they didn't really build much on Gale's character. Throughout all three books I liked him over Peeta (oh, yes I did), so I'm not sure why they didn't go more into depth with that character. I wouldn't have minded a three hour movie!

It was worth it. I may have been so excited after the movie was over that I told C a little to much about the second and third books and he got irritated with me. I just wanted someone to talk to about it who had read the books dammit!

Speaking of books turned movies, we saw the preview for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. That's the book that C was reading (see I told you he used to read!) while I was reading The Hunger Games. I remember him reading me snippets of the book but when I asked him what it was about and how it ended (that's how I roll) I guessed it before he even told me.

Apparently I'm awesome.
