I did that. And the cookies that I bought sucked.
So? I had to go to plan B. Bake my own of course. And they were so good that I had to take all but the three I ate, to work. Or I would have eaten them all.
White chocolate was a main ingredient, so C wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole. He doesn't know what he's missing.
What you need-
3/4 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pinch of cinnamon
1 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
What you do-
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars on medium high until light and fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
In another bowl, sift together the flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Add this to the butter mixture and mix until just combined. Stir the white chocolate chips and nuts in with a rubber spatula.
Make each cookie out of about a tablespoon of dough. Space them out pretty good because they spread a bit. Bake for around 11 minutes. I like my cookies chewy (that's one thing I didn't like about the store-bought ones-hard!) so I took mine out while they were still pretty squishy in the middle.
Perfect.
