Survivor.

Chris is a survivor. He beat it. The cancer is G-O-N-E.

Dr. K. said he couldn't find a single thing on the CT Scan. He was sarcastically disappointed. He said he tried as hard as he could to find any inkling of cancer...couldn't find a thing. 100% CLEAR CT. 

He shook Chris' hand this morning and said, "Hello, Sir who is now cancer free!" Then he shook my hand and silly me said, " What? Are you serious? It's gone?!"

Dr. K. laughed. Who am I to question an oncologist? We love Dr. K., he's very eccentric.

Chris just looked at me and smiled so big. Relief flooded his face.

Have I mentioned we love Dr. K? He knows what he's doing that's for sure. I'm willing to bet Chris loves him more.

We are so thankful.*

Did I mention that he told Chris he could totally pull off the bald head thing? It was a hilarious conversation. Of course, Chris' hair has already started growing back, but I have a feeling he's going to keep it pretty short from now on.

We went to Chick-Fil-A and Chris celebrated with a chocolate milkshake. His favorite. We honestly couldn't think of any way to celebrate. I'm certain we were are in shock. So today, a chocolate milkshake sufficed.

It was a good great day.
