I can't live without...

I have really enjoyed getting back into my own kitchen since Chris and I moved into our apartment about a month ago. I've been able to cook a whole bunch and that makes me happy. Since this is our second place together I can pretty much tell you what I can't live without in my kitchen. Here's a little list of a few things I think you guys should know about...or maybe you already do!

Scrubby brushes from Ikea (I couldn't find them online, so no link)-
They have a suction cup at the end so you can actually stand it up and it dries out. And even better? They're only $0.99 a pop.

They are 100% cotton and very absorbent. We got them at Kohl's on sale a couple of months back.

I can't stand having to pick up and squeeze a bottle of soap when my hands are dirty with food. Chris and I both like the pump on this soap. And it only takes a small amount to do a lot of work. Seriously.

I use these for everything. I have one for cereal, cat food, sugar, & cookies.

I'm not going to tell you how much Pyrex I own. But I can't live without it for sure. I've got pieces for storing, baking, measuring, and mixing.

Brita water pitcher-

The city water we have here tastes n-a-s-t-y and I'm not about to spend gobs of money on bottled water, not to mention the plastic that comes with. So about a year ago Chris and I bought one of these. It was only $20 and the filters, which last about 2-3 months are $7. It really makes the water taste better. I don't use tap water for anything anymore. Well except for cleaning and washing.

I could go on and on but I should probably stop here.
Can I just say this week is taking forever to end? Anyone else feel that way? Not sure why I'm rushing it but it feels like it should be Friday, not Wednesday.
