Ok fine. It was my idea. Actually it was the dining tables fault. That's right. If it wouldn't have been on sale (in of all places Pottery Barn), I would have walked right by.
But no, I stopped. And bought the table.
And the matching shelves.
It was all down hill from there.
Our main rooms flow together so I feel like there should be at least some matchy matchy in the furniture. Well except for my dining room chairs but that's another story.
All of this dark furniture is a huge hassle with a cat and the dust that accumulates approximately .481 seconds after I dust/vacuum.
I mean really?! The cat lays in the same damn place all day. How does her WHITE hair accumulate so freakin' fast?
Oh and don't even get me started on the rug.
So, can I just apologize in advance (especially if you just "drop by") if my house is super hairy? Ok thanks.
*These pictures were taken less than 2 days after I cleaned.
